Do you remember when the DWP contacted you about your incapacity benefit they used to send a form that gave them permission to contact your GP for a medical report.
When you get the ESA 50 they don't ask permission. Is this because they have to pay for the report, it could be argued this failing means they could be making any assessment of you without all the facts. They may argue that you will be seen by a Heath care professional from ATOS
It has been reported this week that some GP's are charging up to £165 for a letter. I can understand that the GP' are under a lot of pressure with ESA reports after all who's knows you better your GP or an ATOS healthcare professional
I would like to find out how much you have had to pay for a letter or report.
Thanks
Paul
